Join us for a short walking tour (up to 9 km) to discover the history of the oldest island in the Azores, featuring fossils that are 5 million years old. You’ll walk through natural reserves and protected landscapes in a safe and peaceful environment, allowing you to appreciate nature in its purest form. We can choose from several approved short trails on Santa Maria Island.

â—¾Tours need to be reserved 48 hours prior to the designated time;
â—¾All tours include briefing and will be accompanied by a certified guide;
â—¾Tours may be cancelled or itineraries changed, without previous notice, due to weather conditions or other events beyond our control;
â—¾Atlantivacations reserves the right of choosing the transport, depending on the number of participants;
â—¾All tours are fully insured;
â—¾Payment for the tours is made by Credit Card or in Check (valid only for the USA Customers).
â—¾Reservations canceled by the client up to 48h before the tour date will be refunded in full.
â—¾Refunds may take up to 30 working days to be processed back to your original form of payment;
â—¾Reservations canceled by client less than 48h from the tour date, are subject to 50% fee of the tour;
â—¾Cancellations made by client or agency, less then 24 hours before the day of the tour will not be refunded;
â—¾In case of cancellation by the agency, the tour may be rescheduled for another day or refunded;
