The Lagoons & Volcanoes tour is a blend of two activities: a morning hiking trail and an afternoon minivan tour focusing on volcanology, totaling 8 hours.
In the morning, enjoy a 5-kilometer hike along the Mistérios Negros trail, known for its stunning natural beauty, including lagoons, cryptomeria forests, endemic vegetation (Azoric), and volcanic landscapes. The hike is of medium difficulty, with about 100 meters of elevation gain on irregular terrain.
In the afternoon, you’ll visit the inside of an empty volcano, walk through a fumarolic field, explore the Gruta do Natal lava tunnel, and stroll around the natural pools in Biscoitos. Lunch with drinks is included.
