We invite you to explore Madeira’s beautiful countryside and discover the charming traditional cottages that dot the landscape. Our journey begins in Machico, where we’ll stop at the Pequeno Camões viewpoint to admire stunning views of the valley and Ponta de São Lourenço.
From there, we’ll head to the Ponta do Rosto viewpoint, located in the northern part of the São Lourenço Peninsula, which boasts an abundance of unique flora and fauna. The stunning views of the north and south coasts of Madeira, as well as the possibility of seeing Porto Santo Island on clear days, make this stop one you won’t want to miss.
We’ll take a brief break in the village of Porto da Cruz before continuing on to Santana, where we’ll visit the famous thatched-roof houses. After lunch, we’ll journey through the breathtaking Natural Park of Ribeiro Frio and ascend to Pico do Arieiro, the third highest peak in Madeira, where you’ll be rewarded with magnificent views.
